Tea Party movement

 I have talked to several people in St. Mary's County who are members of the Tea Party. I must say they are very nice folks with a simple message -Taxed Enough Already.  One of the women I spoke with at length was a well educated, well spoken wife and mother who stated that she now has to budget her meals because of financial conditions. She emphasized "our taxes are way out of line".

Folks.  Tired of Higher Property Taxes; Backdoor Deals with Developers; and the current County Commissioners (With Exception of Commissioner Jarboe) telling you they know Better how to spend your money.  We need your help.  The Town Hall Alliance slate of candidates need to get through the Primary in September (3-9 Sept Early Vote and 14 Sept Primary) if we are to get elected in the November General Election (22-28 Oct Early Vote and 2 Nov General Election).

Mill Cove Neighborhood are Spared High Density Housing "For Now"

I am glad to report that the County Commissioners voted to "not" allow Public Sewer and Water to be extended to the Mill Cove Community.  I applaud the folks who stood up to this out of control developement.   Guy Curley hopes to overturn this decision.  Stay Vigilant.
