Tom Carnahan, a scion of Missouri’s most prominent Democratic political family, is listed on Obama’s campaign website as a host of a $25,000-per-person fundraiser to be held in St. Louis on October 4.

$700 million dollars have been stolen out of the Transportation Trust Fund by Governor O'Malley to "fix" his yearly billion dollar plus budget gaps as reported by the Washington Examiner.

The money is due for transportation projects and the Senate Budget and Taxation Committee is considering, coincidentally right before the 2011 Special Session, taxes to replace the stolen funds.

LONGVIEW, Wash. (AP) — Hundreds of Longshoremen stormed the Port of Longview early Thursday, overpowered and held security guards, damaged railroad cars, and dumped grain that is the center of a labor dispute, said Longview Police Chief Jim Duscha.

Six guards were held hostage for a couple of hours after 500 or more Longshoremen broke down gates about 4:30 a.m. and smashed windows in the guard shack, he said.
