Where have GOP central committee members been when Jarboe deserved support to hold the line on taxes? AWOL!

On Friday afternoon I had a message on my home phone from Dave Willenborg (County Republican Central Committee chairman).  He was upset about an article in ST. MARY'S TODAY on page 9 of the May 23rd edition and said that “There will be a response.”  This was not the first time Dave left a complaint on my phone, and probably will not be the last.

Well I had to find out what Dave was so upset about.  Since he would not say what he so upset about, I figured the following quote from ST. MARY'S TODAY was bothering old Dave.

“I can tell you I haven’t had any more support from the lifeless local Republican Party committee or clubs than I have had from Democrats,” said Jarboe. “But the people of this county are demanding that we cut costs and hold down taxes, I hear it everywhere I go. As the last four budget cycles have gone forward, I have never seen our party leaders coming to budget hearings or writing letters to the newspapers asking the Board to support my efforts to maintain the constant yield, that is a function which they should and could perform.”

“We have responded with the formation of the Town Hall Alliance, we have set out a campaign platform of common sense organization of county government, and pledge to cut spending on non-essential programs so we have the funds to properly fund public safety, education and our public works infrastructure,” explained Jarboe.

“The county commissioners need to work with the legislators and have the cooperation of a team, so we have asked Matt Morgan to join us and he has readily agreed,” said Jarboe.

So now is the question as to why is Dave Willenborg yelling on my home phone, when he should be talking to Larry Jarboe?  I spoke to Larry and I found out that old Dave was calling all the Town Hall Alliance members (even our newest member, Matt Morgan), yet did not contact Larry.  So it appears old Dave Willenborg is not too fond of the Town Hall Alliance and is using his position to try to create a wedge.  Well, this has made us more determined.

Where was Dave Willenborg’s anger when the County Commissioners raised our property taxes once again (with exception of Commissioner Jarboe)? Kenny Dement has supported raising our taxes each year, not the act of a fiscally conservative Republican who listens to voters.

I did not see old Dave get up and speak at the County Budget Hearing how a Constant Yield should be implemented to help out the folks in our county during this bad economy.  I and the others of the Town Hall Alliance did get up and speak asking the commissioners to maintain the Constant Yield, and how spending in the budget could be re-directed to make this happen.

Where was Dave Willenborg in voicing his opposition to non-essential programs in county government?  The Town Hall Alliance members have opposed  this $1.5 million pot of taxpayers money that is given out by the County Commissioners (With lone exception of Commissioner Jarboe who has opposed spending this money).

Maybe Dave Willenborg should use his position to help the folks of St. Mary’s County, instead of trying to censor the Town Hall Alliance, the only group of conservatives that take a stand on the issues and are trying to hold the line on taxes.

Dave Willenborg needs to be replaced if he is going to be a do-nothing.

Well, he is doing something.  Although we don't know why, he is working against those of his party who are trying to get elected to put a stop to the corruption and good old boy way of doing politics in southern Maryland.  Yes, those of his party, The Town Hall Alliance Slate don't own anything to him and his minyons or builders, or other good old boy politicians, so maybe that is why he wished to silence them.  If not that, what?

Does he and the rest of the organized do nothing Republicans of southern Maryland have a plan?  To support RINO Kenny is NOT a plan, neither is maintaining the status quo....

Wake up, Repubs, help those who are honest in their aims to help the tax payer.

This blowhard is the brother of Richard Fritz's brother-in-law and is an example of the type of self serving Republicans such as Fritz and Barbara Thompson who never attempt to help grow a conservative group that champions core values of conservative operation of government.  Dave Willenborg simply wants to be at the head table of a small party once a year and be in charge of blowing up the balloons, a task to which he is amply qualified.  Lead, follow or get out of the way...I will follow Commissioner Larry Jarboe!

Looks like a clean house is needed.  Get rid of Willenborg and work you way up.  Get Republicans with Conservative Values the just don't sit on their but and do nothing, but pick up the phone to complain to a SLATE of candidates that are making a difference.  Talk to the people of Hillville, Millcove, Golden Beach as to how this group of dedicated individuals helped out and they are not even elected in office, with the exception of Larry.  I do not see any of the other Candidates that are running doing anything like that.

My vote is for the SLATE that is already out there helping the local people.   My vote is for the Town Hall Alliance.

Umm....   Seems like Commissioner Jarboe pushed a hot button.  About time.

Now, don't one of  you folks from the Town Hall Alliance have an email or note somewhere from a member of the central committee member responding to their inaction by saying something like..."in reality we are really pretty much a social club" or some such BS as that?  It would be a nice if it could be used in a reply.. to Willenborg...

It seems his first paragraph is full of contradictions...   " Our Central Committee policy is to stay out of contested primary elections and let the electorate decide who our party nominees will be.  This policy requires the committee not to endorse any candidate, or slate of candidates, before the conclusion of the primary election.  But this neutral position can quickly change if necessary.  "  Now what does that mean?

"Central Committee members are elected, and like any candidate, they have a right to defend their position when called upon to do so.  If a candidate decides that they need to sling mud at the party leadership in a public forum, then they should expect a reprisal."  Oh, now I sorta get it.... First he thinks being elected to the central committee really means something to the greater picture of reality.  Sorry, Willy, you are elected as an insider of insider club.  In simple terms, you are more important to yourself than to anything else.  Anyway, the above statement means that based on your criteria, you can decide when to mount a reprisal.  Big deal.  The folks of the Town Alliance Slate face reprisals from every corner of the compass.  What is disappointing, is you and your pompous self appointed, do nothing committee is in the same league with those the Town Hall Alliance Slate folks are trying to kick out of office.  Too bad you folks can't apply reason to your thought process.  The Town Hall Alliance Slate is trying to improve the political scene in St. Mary's County for the betterment of the tax payers.  Not builders, developers, good old boy networks, or pompous, self appointed do nothing........ummm already covered this part above...  Well, you get the idea.....   Since your group doesn't lead, nor assist, just get out of the way...

Nuff said, getting too pissed to type....

It appears that the central committee chairman is now trying to take credit for the individual efforts of voters who voluntarily sign up as members of the party when they register.  If the Central Committee has indeed increased the membership by ten percent, meaning they gained about 2400 new registered Republican voters, they sure wouldn't mind providing proof of that act, unless of course it is more bull from Willenborg the Blowhard.

The real job of the central committee is to groom candidates, assist those who become candidates with a functioning headquarters complete with computer data on identifying voters by district and a place where volunteers can assemble to assist with the effort of changing the out-of-control spending of that Krazy Kenny and his liberal Democrat pals.  Blowhard Willy can't point to a GOP headquarters because there isn't one.  But they have nice parties and meetings where they have good cocktails.

We are at an important crossroads and its time for patriots to come forward and volunteer their wallets and their time to get government under control, at least Commissioner Jarboe has proven he has the best interests of St. Mary's County and all Democrats, Republicans and Independents.

Blowhard Willenborg has proven he is a crybaby and ineffective at the task for which the Central Committee should be accomplishing.

I will vote for Commissioner Jarboe and his slate.

Willenborg the Blowhard,,,,I like that.

Wow!!!

Rich, you really livened up the web page.

Today, I have been working to provide a respectful tribute for Memorial Day on behalf of the Town Hall Alliance.  I am still scraping the red, white, and blue paint from my fingers as I read the e-mails and replies.

Yesterday, when the calls came in from Alliance members who were contacted by incumbent St. Mary's Republican Central Committee Chairman Dave Willenborg, I noted the Shakespeare quote regarding Dave's outrage, "Me thinks thou doth protest too much."

Can anyone  show a letter to any editor of support from either the Rep. Cent. Comm. or the Rep. Club for my lone efforts to keep property tax bills from increasing, consolidate administrative positions, or expose bad behind the scenes deals?

The Town Hall Alliance is gaining popularity across our County as the alternative choice to politics as usual on both sides of the political fence.  We have been out front with our own float in advance of other Republican groups.  Our pick-up trucks hit the street first.  We have worked together to help disenfranchised citizens who now see the Democratic Bubba style politics that have trickled down from the Obama Administration to the local level.

Primary races are battlefields within each political party.  There are many factions that have formed within the Republican networks.  I expect the protest of the Central Committee Chairman is a smokescreen to divide the Alliance and lay the groundwork for a liberal primary opponent in my race.

Time will tell.  United we stand.

Larry Jarboe

Is the best that the GOP can do is having a crybaby running the party in St. Mary's County?  Willenborg hasn't gotten a single candidate to file for any of the following posts: Commissioner, Delegate, Clerk of the Court, Treasurer, Register of Wills, Judge of the Orphans Court. There is not a Republican headquarters and no visible sign of a party in spite of parity with the Democrats.  People want to vote for Republicans but the invisible Central Committee does nothing but bellyache about the Town Hall Alliance.  The do-nothings of the Willenborg liberals should shut up and start working.

Who is "Anonymous" and why does he or she not have the cojones to respond to Mr. Willenborg using his or her name?  The Republican Party has three tenets: Lower Taxes, Smaller Government, and Personal Responsibility.  You fail the last if you cannot sign your name to your comment.  All of these comments do seem to be (badly) written by the same person, so perhaps you are a coward with an issue with Mr. Willenborg himself?

You state that Mr. Willenborg called every member of the Town Hall Alliance, would he not have called Commissioner Jarboe as well?  Why is the Town Hall Alliance trying to put a wedge between members of the Republican Party of St. Mary's County?  Perhaps you are all still Dems at heart, having changed parties several times yourselves?

Sign me: Lisa Flower

And why does this site not allow me to put in my name?  BTW, it's Lisa Flower!

To Lisa Flower:

This is the first time your name has appeared in reference to St. Mary's County government. Never have you presented a focused argument for supporting Commissioner Jarboe, which is at the heart of this little stir on the part of Dave Willenborg.  It appears that the handful of Republican elitists who think that this party is all theirs, was put out from day one when Jarboe organized a slate to run with him, without consulting with old time party hacks and their little club.  Too bad, I have been watching local government increase my taxes, spend my money on silly and unneeded expenditures and put up special deals like the rotten, smelly and crooked Hayden Farm deal and the only one who has objected has been Larry Jarboe.   You and Willenborg haven't been part of any leadership, so stuff it in your hat.

Neither party worries about the average voter and taxpayer.  The Democrats are all about pandering to the tax consumers who have a voracious appetite for the money from the hard work of others all the while sitting on their big fat cans watching TV, believing that they have a right to free housing, free health care, free food, free clothes and anything else they want in exchange for voting for the liberals.  The Country Club Republicans simply want to feather their own nests.

God Bless Larry Jarboe for telling the truth, trying to cut spending and hold the line on taxes, which is the best way to put it and I am going to vote for Jarboe's team and help get rid of the silly clowns like Dement and Russell, who both parties should be ashamed of.

Wow.  The Republican establishment blowhards don't like Larry Jarboe even though he is the only Republican in history to be elected three times to the post of St. Mary's County Commissioner?   Joe O'Dell was elected and quit.  Loffler was elected and took a pass on running again after his slimy deal with a developer, Barbara Thompson was defeated after four years of bickering and trying to raise taxes, Shelby Guazzo's greatest accomplishment was trying to build a free stable at a public park for the indigent horse owners who had no room to board their fox hunting mounts.  Chesser lost reelection to Joe Anderson which is like choosing poison ivy over poison oak.  The same Republicans who are giving Jarboe hell are the ones who support big spending liberal Democrats.   Why can't the liberal Republicans just join in with Hoyer and Russell and Bohanan.

This county has plenty of people who are hurting, who have lost family income with jobs lost, businesses closed, homes lost or relatives who have lost and need help from the family.  It may not be a big deal to Dan Raley to have his taxes raised by $200 as he can get his wife to pay it, but it hurts the average person a lot.

My husband and I are going to vote for Larry Jarboe and all of his team, and don't think that all those signs of Kenny Dement mean a thing to us, because they don't.  Seeing his name just reminds me that he has raised my taxes.  I can't wait until the voting booth opens to vote against Dement and vote for whoever is on Jarboe's team.

I don't usually write in comments to internet blogs, but I can't stand sitting out this debate.  The Town Hall Alliance prepared a clear and understandable platform on this website which makes it easy for me to know what they stand for and to hold them accountable in the future.  I like that. If there is a GOP website, its news to me. If there is a Republican headquarters, I don't know where it is.  What is the big deal with a Lincoln Day Dinner which is not held on Lincoln's birthday and its big speaker is a defeated former governor.  I am a conservative and I am going to Jarboe's dinner to show my support.

Last year I contacted the Maryland GOP trying to find contact infor for the St. Mary's Chapter of the GOP. The website info provided at that time produced no response after a half dozen inquires. Now there seems to be a new "leader" fo the local chapter. Congratulations, the local GOP has climbed out of their rabbit hole! However, they have been underground so long that they are not aware of the local issues or if they are, do not seem to participate in the discussion. Instead, they pick a fight with Larry Jarboe, who in my mind, made a truthful statement after my experiences with the local GOP. In the response to Jarboe it was stated that they "do not choose sides until after the primary". The tone of the GOP response clearly shows that a choice has been made (and long before this latest incident). So, let me get this straight: the local GOP ONLY gets involved in politics during about an 8 week period every 4 years? And we Repblicans are supposed to follow you over a cliff like lemmings? Is this the same GOP that gave us Kenny Dement (RINO)? That is the best you can do while throwing Jarboe under the bus? Real Republicans will pull Jarboe out from under the bus and dust him off.  So, my question is this: The National GOP is in fragmented with all the infighting. So now it has filtered down to the local level. No wonder the GOP can not get anything meaningful done right. At least this slate of candidates are knowledgible and hanging together on local issues. That alone is worth considering voting for them.

Where is the local Republican party platform?  Was there ever one put into writing?  Where were the GOP candidates in last election.  One brave soul, Sandy Bailey Redden, ran for Clerk of the Court and got 48 percent of the vote and did so totally on her own with no help from the so-called party.  With a strong party turning out the GOP voters and backing up her effort, she could have won as the incumbent had retired.  This year the incumbent Register of Wills is taking a pass on running again and this is a great opportunity, but Blowhard Willenborg is too busy leaving nasty threats on phones of Republican candidates.   We need conservatives who will work, build and bring government under control, not control freaks who stand for nothing and will buy anything.

Again, the members of the Town Hall Alliance are the only members of any political party to stand up to the spend and taxers. I stated that right. The spend and taxers. The present Board of County Commissioners have obligated funds from yet uncollected taxes to every thing from County Employee salery increases to tax exempt charities! As these increases go into effect our county faces the prospect of having to fund, partial and then  incrementally, teacher retirements.  Just wait until we get hit with that bill!  The members of Jarboe's Slate support the Board of Education and have been active in challenging every nickle and dime that does not directly go for education and essential county services.   The U.S. economy is in dire straights. Our county economy is in bad shape. We can not count on the navy base to be there as a cash cow forever. No one except the folks that got bail out money is getting any kind of raise.  Those of us retired and living on fixed incomes just cannot handle anymore of these largeses.  They are killing us.  Through all the BS going on in ALL of the local news papers, where in the heck has the so called Republican Central Committee been! I've lived in this county for 17 years and never, ever heard of you guys. Its not too late Mr Wellenborg to get really involved as a REPUBLICAN.  Not a Kenny Dement type republican that votes 96% of the time with the Dems to raise our taxes (I've seen so many of his signs lately it makes me want to have him cited for littering!). Dave,  bring your committee and climb aboard the THA platform. They have plenty of room for you. These fine, honest gentleman have been looking out for us, including you.  Their actions speak louder than words.  No other candidates have been as active as these guys in trying to curb runaway spending and stopping the unethical "political deals" taking place in our county. Just ask the families in Mill Cove and Hillville. These folks didn't see anybody BUT the THA challenging the "net work".

Okay, who is in favor of having their taxes raised?  Please state your name, where you live and how much you can stand having your taxes hiked.  Be sure to state the source of your income and if you have a government job.  I am waiting.....well, I will vote for Larry Jarboe's slate and can't wait.

I wonder if the Central Committee will try to squash the Town Hall Alliance so they can promote the SLATE they want, like McKay, Hewitt, Dement, Todd Morgan.

More likely, the Town Hall Alliance will self destruct on their own accord.

The politicians can keep on dancing and attacking the citizens who trying to take this country back but the party establishment types will get tossed out in the fall elections.  The people are fed up, especially with Hoyer, Russell, Bohanan, Dement, Russell and of course, Obama.

I hope Mr. Thomas McKay runs for election this year as either Delegate or Commissioner.  He has the money to be able to spend full time solving our problems and to assure that we have strong and positive growth.  His strong ties with developers and his understanding of their needs will drive the economy and more home construction means more stores, more schools, more teachers hired to work in the schools and larger payrolls for area merchants.  We need more growth, not less and Mr. McKay will bring that about.

I too like Mr. McKay and his slate and I think that with their ability to raise the funds needed for a campaign, that the McKay slate will win.  McKay has the background, experience and education to properly guide the development and advancement of St. Mary's County.

Let see, Mckay has the "Education"?  You mean when he said he had a College Degree and really did not, and then blamed his secretary for making that mistake.

Ability to raise "Funds"?  You mean like the time his son was counterfeiting $20 dollar bills and Mckay got him off.

Hmmm,,,you want a dishonest politician that is O.K. with breaking the law.

Sounds like you want to maintain the current Board Of Commissioners with the exception of Commissioner Larry Jarboe.

Yikes!  Lets hope McKay doesn't jump in.   Voters are wanting change this year - and he brings nothing more than the same good-ole-boy network that we have now.

We don't need any recycled candidates who've already been rejected by the voters.

My name is Sheiloh Rowland.  I am a registered Republican voter in St. Mary's County and have been since 1969.  I have been an active member of the Republican Party for most of that time and until just recently I have been proud to claim that status.  (YES!!  I AM A RESIDENT, DESPITE RUMOR)

I have no idea how any Republican candidate running in this election expects to win against anyone.  They are too busy with their own petty back biting, name calling and sniping to respond to their Democratic opposition.

Why doesn't the Town Alliance concentrate on fighting their Democratic opponents.  If they put one-tenth as much effort into that as they do fighting their own party, they just might have a chance come November!

Mr. Rowland.  I am glad to see you putting down your comments on the blog.  The Town Hall Alliance has a first goal of getting through the Primary in September.  My individual run is against Commissioner Kenny Dement (A Republican), and I have asked the current Board of County Commissioners as to why a Constant Yield for property tax could not be implemented?  Why did they spend our tax dollars on the Hayden farm for more than it is worth?  Why did they re-zone Hillville, Golden Beach, and Mill Cove with no care to the people that live there?  These questions were addressed to Republicans and Democrats alike.  My other members in the Town Hall Alliance also have to get through the Primary.  Once we are through, you are correct our focus will be the Democrat who plans to run against us in the General Election in November.  Right now, I have no Democrat yet to file for District 1 in my race.

Rich Johnson

County Commissioner Candidate, District 1.

For clarification purposes, it is Mrs. Rowland.

Correction Rich,

Sheiloh Rowland is Mrs. Rowland who was also my past Campaign Treasurer.  She knows much about the history of the Republican groups and was a recent candidate for the Republican Club presidency.  She lost to Julie Van Orden who holds that position.

Sheiloh and I have worked together with other grassroots Republicans to build floats, send letters of support, and generally stick it to the Democratic Bubba network when we were vastly outnumbered.

As the alternative to the current DC politics from the Obama Administration on down, we are now gaining numbers of Republican registrations.

By the General Election, we may surpass the registered Democrats.

There are five distinct groups I can see vying for poll position:

The Town Hall Alliance, the McKay elite, the Ron Paul network, the Kenny Dement converts, and the lone wolf Republican candidates.  This is the dynamic we are confronted with entering the Republican Primary in September.

Thank you Sheiloh for sharing your observations.  Ultimately, the battle must be between the taxpayers and the tax takers.  Only one of those groups has a firm local platform and public record established for the taxpayers.

This year, the Republicans do have a choice.

Larry Jarboe

You've asked why a constant yield tax rate couldn't be impemented in this budget, and the answer has been that the budget can't be fairly balanced using it. Larry Jarboe has not been able to put forth a workable budget that utilizes constant yield. The budget is available to the public. If you have a real solution, please redline the budget and post a version you'd support.  Nobody wants to pay higher taxes, but all I hear from the Tea Party....I mean Town Hall Alliance is "cut taxes! reduce spending!"  without providing a real solution. What services and funding would you cut, and which employees would you lay off Mr. Johnson?  The contract employees have contracts that extend into this budget year. Do you want to cancel contracts and put the county into litigation like we had with Al Lacer?

What, exactly. is your proposed solution? Please address this personally.  Most of the time when you're asked questions on this blog site, Commissioner Jarboe answers for you.

If the Town Hall Alliance = Tea Party, they have my vote.

I heard Mr. Johnson at the budget hearing this year.  He had the numbers out of the budget and sounded good to me.  Guess you were not there.

The Functionality of the Townhall Alliance Slate…

I attend the local RCC meeting last night and entertained questions about the past week’s actives and the inter-party bickering.  I had one strong supporter of mine question me on the purpose of the Townhall Slate; after explaining its purpose, she seemed to feel much better about the logic behind it.  So I thought I would share the explanation with everyone to clear up the confusion.

The Townhall Alliance has an easy and straightforward platform:  Hold the line on taxes; preserve the quality of life in local neighborhoods, and honest open government.

I expand on that platform at the State level by adding: cut spending and taxes to increase jobs, smaller government and individual accountability - all ideas most Republicans can agree with and support.

The functionality of the Slate is as simple and as easy to understand as the platform.  It’s about getting Reagan-style Republicans in office.  It’s about winning this fall.  It’s about taking our State and local government back to a direction that is more in-line with the people of Southern Maryland.

There is a bit of an uphill battle when running against an incumbent candidate (a professional politician) who already has a team in place, that has been fundraising for years and, in most cases, does this as a full time job.  This is a lot to overcome alone and is why running as a challenger is a disadvantage.  You have a limited amount of help, support, money and not many people to guide you in the right direction.  The main help you get is from other candidates that are in the same situation.   The point of the slate is that five people working together, sharing their resources, is better than one trying to go it alone.

As a new candidate, I am shocked at the inner-workings and the drama of the local Republican Party.  This, at times, seems to be 'big ego' politics which has nothing to do with helping the average constituent. This election is like no other in my lifetime; we are at a crossroads and this fall’s election will determine where we end up years from now.   We have a great opportunity this year to put candidates in National, State and local offices that have never been held by Republicans.  We have an opportunity to vote for candidates that will uphold a Reagan philosophy, control spending and vote for conservative policies upholding our fiscal and social values.

Please check your ego’s for the next 151 days and lets all work towards our common goal.

Matt Morgan

Candidate for State Delegate District 29A

www.VoteForMattMorgan.com

If Rich Johnson = Sarah Palin, he has my vote.

If Town Hall Alliance = Tea Party, they have my vote too.

I hear “Old Dave” has even threatened the Town Hall Alliance with more of what, I do not know.  What is up with this guy?  Does “Old Dave” want some other group in place of the Town Hall Alliance guys with trucks?  Me thinks “Old Dave” needs to be put out to pasture, since he is not supporting conservative candidates, but the “Good Old Boy” network instead.

Willenborg the Blowhard is not a conservative, but just part of the good old boy network.  He needs to go.  Willenborg is self-serving.  The THA will serve the people.

oooooooh.  Just can't get past the fact that the Saint Marys Today is backing the Town Hall Alliance can you?    Each of the local papers will back individuals or groups of candidates this political season.  Each have their pros and cons. Thats a fact. St Marys Today has been in the forefront of exposing the BS that has been going on in our county for years.  Sometimes in not very flattering terms but none the less all based on facts. I recommend you purchase a copy and see for yourself. Truth hurts. If Mr Rossignol was anything but honest in his reporting he would have been sued out of business a long time ago. The THA has set their sights on getting back to basics. Governing of the people, by the people and for the people. No more special intrest give aways. No more backroom deals.  As hard as it is for you to believe having the endorsement of the Saint Mary's Today paper is a plus.  I'm sure they'd welcome your support as well.

I am voting for Larry Jarboe's team.  The liberals must really be upset to know they are going to lose control of their private club.

The good folks of Saint Mary's county see right through your lame attempt to smear Mr Morris.  I recommend you do some research. The sexist comments made about Ms Meiser were not made by Mr Morris.  He clearly refuted them.   The comments were made by someone else but attributed wrongly to Mr Morris.  Commissioner Jarboe is the leader of the THA not some newspaper.  St Marys Today (SMT) is merely the vehicle used by the THA to  get their message out.  Watch closely, The County Times and the Enterprise will endorse candidates and perform the same function.  Are you willing to say that their candidates = the respective papers?  That they are puppet masters?  I guess not.  Additionally, the THA has a platform with real recommendations for county government that if you listen you'll find them to be fiscally sound.   Recommend you get your facts straight before you try to negatively influence folks.

Hmmm…….This cloaked anonymous person attacking the THA appears to be Commissioner Mattingly.   He likes to hide in the dark and throw stones.   I can pin down his “Better than thou” smug attitude anytime.  He knows better than others, just like when he paid $5.2 Million for the Hayden farm when it was appraised for half of that.  Glad his term is over.  He now eyes Delegate Woods position.  oops…..the cat is out of the bag.  How much harm will he cause as a Delegate in Annapolis?  Only the Shadow knows.
