Town Hall Alliance Speak to Republican Club (21 Jan 2010)
The Town Hall Alliance members Commissioner Larry Jarboe, Candidate Danny Morris, Candidate Randy Guy, and Candidate Rich Johnson spoke to the Republican club on what they stood for and how they wanted to serve as County Commissioners. What was discussed was well received. We very much appreciated the invite to speak and look forward to talking more to the club.

I really enjoyed hearing some Common Sence from the Town Hall Alliance members. What I did not like was that guy that came up and yelled at the Candidates. His rant sounded like some "Nut Job" which is what the Left is trying to label us. This is not the type of behavior that should occur in these meetings. I thought he said his name was Gary.
I am not sure why Gary was so emotional. As the economy pushes us to new depths of despair, we should step back and count our blessings. We have a system where we can effect positive change for the better. The promised "change" we got from the Obama camp did in fact occur. It just has gone in the wrong direction. An election can change everything. The chaos in Haiti should help us realize that we have not fallen to that level of hopelessness.
My own public record on every vote is available through the minutes of our meetings and stored video. Should anyone question me on my lone votes in contrast to my fellow commissioners, I can give my reason to express an alternate view.
As members of the Town Hall Alliance, we are focused on working together to help the taxpayers weather these times. There are manys storms ahead. Welcome to politics.
